Dr. Saleh Al-Harbi is a consultant, Pediatrics & Pediatric Pulmonologist at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (DSFH).
After gaining his bachelor degree in medicine and surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah in 1996, Dr. Saleh underwent the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE) in 2001, it’s a computer-based examination that test the general assessment of the candidate’s basic medical knowledge in the principal disciplines of medicine. In addition, he is certified from several reputable accredited medical boards in Jeddah, such as the Arab Board of Pediatrics (CABP) in 2002 and the Saudi Board in Pediatrics (CSBP) in 2003, followed by a postgraduate and a subspecialty training in Pediatric Respirology section of Pediatrics Pulmonology & Respirology in the pediatrics and child health department at the health sciences Centre at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada from 2003 to 2005. In 2007, Dr. Saleh successfully pursued and passed an accredited General Pediatrics Certifying Examination at the American Board of Pediatrics in Chicago, USA.
Before joining DSFH in 2008, Dr. Saleh was completing two years of residency training in pediatrics in the pediatrics and child health department at the Health Sciences Centre at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, Dr. Saleh began his career in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as a resident in pediatrics department at King Khalid National Guard Hospital in 1997, then as a specialist in pediatric at King Faisal Specialist Hospital from 2002 to 2003, before moving to Canada for his residency training program.
