The Role: We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Logistics Manager to manage our extensive network of outsourcing partners and oversee the hospital and clinic network's facility and engineering needs. This vital role is tasked with ensuring the seamless operation of outsourced services, aligning their execution with our strategic objectives, and upholding our facilities at the forefront of operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage outsourcing partnerships meticulously, affirming that contractual responsibilities are fulfilled to the highest standards of service excellence.
- Oversee all facets of facility management, including upkeep, repairs, and renovations, to foster a secure, compliant, and proficient healthcare environment.
- Ensure the facility's operations are compliant with all relevant government and regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and implementing necessary compliance strategies.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, steam, and electrical systems, and infrastructure essential to hospital operations.
- Spearhead compliance with healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, OSHA, Civil Defense), maintaining meticulous documentation through sophisticated technology platforms.
- Champion project management for construction and renovation projects, minimizing interference with facility operations, while managing budgets and deadlines proficiently.
- Cultivate and maintain Emergency Management plans, orchestrate preparedness drills, and manage risk mitigation processes.
- Lead, coach, and cultivate a high-achieving team, promoting a culture of continuous enhancement and professional development.
What We Require:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, OR
- An Associate’s Degree in an engineering-related field, or trade/technical certification, with at least 5 years of facility management experience, inclusive of 3 in a supervisory role, OR
- A seasoned expert with no less than 10 years in facility management in large healthcare organization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly regarded.
- Stellar project management acumen and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing outsourcing relationships and a proven record of boosting performance and efficiency.
