The department operates on a full range of ophthalmological services from preventive medicine to tertiary referral centres. We achieve excellence in our highly specialized ophthalmology department through around the clock, seven days a week services which include surgery cases, refractive surgery cases, most of diagnostic and therapeutic modules, home services, inpatient referrals, and community services. The department also fosters a community of ophthalmologists who share a wealth of expertise and knowledge which extends to serving the KAUST community through WMC.
The ophthalmology department is equipped with some of the most advanced technologies and equipment, and our managers ensure the continuous development of our facilities by attending international meetings and specialized conferences to extend their knowledge, and to keep up to date with the latest inventions in the industry and make them available to all our patients at DSFH
