Earned his Bachelor's in Medicine and Surgery from Medical College Aleppo University in 1994. Additionally, attained the Syrian Board in Neurology in 2003. Also, was able to earn the Jordanian Board in Neurology in 2008. Furthermore, Dr. Mahdi earned the Saudi Board in Neurology in 2012. Then he was able to earn the European Board in neurology in 2014. Afterward, he earned the Behavioral Neurology Fellowship in 2017.
