Dr. Majed Almourgi is a consultant, Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Oncology at DSFH.
Fellow of Royal college and surgeons of Ireland, Dublin in 2003.
Fellow of American collage of chest physicians in 2009م.
Fellow of American college of surgeons in 2010.
STS member of international sociality & thoracic surgery in 2012.
Dr. Majed Almourgi has obtained his Thoracic surgery degree from Harvard university, Boston, USA in 2008
followed by obtaining the Thoracic oncology fellowship from University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA in 2009
in addition to obtaining healthcare leadership program from Houston Methodist hospital, Houston, USA in 2018م.
Dr. Majed Almourgi worked as a Head of surgery department at Taif university, Taif, KSA from 2015 to 2016
then worked as a Vice dean at College of mendicancy Taif university, Taif, KSA from 2016 to 2018م.
Dr. Majed Almourgi also worked as The CEO of East Jeddah hospital, Jeddah, KSA from 2018 to 2020م
He is currently the dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Taif University
