Dr. Taha Khattab is a consultant, Pediatric Hematology  Oncology. He is serving various services and procedures, like:

  • Acute admission for pediatric hematology disorder (bleeding, anemia, thrombin time).
  • Diagnosis and management of pediatric hematological malignancies hematological malignancies and solid tumor.
  • Organ function assessment before starting chemotherapy (Cardiac, renal).
  • Follow up of cancer patient who completed pain therapy.
  • Risk Strategical of all child had cancer.
  • Bone marrow aspiration biopsy.

Studies

Dr. Taha graduated from faculty of medicine, Cairo, Egypt, in 1979, obtaining MB- CHB degree. Then, he attained the master MS. Pediatric from the same university in 1984. Furthermore, the doctor successfully rewarded the PH-D in Pediatric in 1993.

Work Experience

Dr. Taha's career started in 1980, while he served as internal ship at Kasr ElEini Hospital, Egypt. Then, he worked as resident at Military Hospital, Cairo in 1981. After that, he served as a specialist at New Children Hospital, Cairo, in 1984.  Dr. Taha moved to KSA in 1989 to work at King Khaled Hospital, then, as assistant consultant at King Abdulaziz Medical city. In 2008, he worked as associate consultant at Princess Nourah Oncology Center until 2015. Before his joining to DSFH Dr. Taha worked as consultant at King Salman Military Hospital for two years.
