Dr. Haifaa Malaekah is a Consultant, general surgery and Colorectal surgery at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh hospital.
Dr. Haifaa Malaekah obtained the MRCS Board from the Royal college of surgeon, Edinburgh in 2007 followed by obtaining the Master of science in epidemiology and medical statistic from the College of public health in health informatics, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2011 in addition to obtaining the Saudi Board in General surgery from KSA Medical city in 2008. Dr. Haifaa Malaekah also obtained the Fellowship in colorectal surgery from University of Montreal, Montreal, Canada in 2015 in addition to obtaining the Surgical simulation Fellowship from MC Gill university, Montreal, Canada in 2016.
Dr. Haifaa Malaekah worked as an Associate consultant at the department of general surgery at King Abdulaziz medical city, Riyadh, KSA from 2009 to 2011 followed by working as an Associate consultant at the department of general surgery at King Fahad medical city, Riyadh, KSA from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Haifaa Malaekah also worked as a Consultant General surgery of colorectal surgeon at Al-Habib hospital, Riyadh, KSA from 2017 to 2020 in addition to working as an Assistant clinical professor at Prince Nora University, Riyadh, KSA from 2017 to 2020 and as a Consultant colorectal at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz university from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Haifaa Malaekah also worked as Director of pelvic floor at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz university from 2018 to 2019 and as a Director of postgraduate professional development at Simulation & skill development center, princess Norah University from 2018 to 2019.
