Dr. Hetaimish is a Canadian Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon since 2012. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency training at McMaster University, Canada. Following this, he accomplished 3 years of additional Sports Medicine and Joints Arthroplasty Fellowship Training, first in 2013 at McMaster University (Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy and Hip Arthroscopy). Second in 2014 at University of Toronto, Mount Sini Hospital, Canada (Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction). Third in 2015 at McMaster University (Lower Limb Arthroplasty). Dr. Hetaimish is interested in medical education and he achieved a Master Degree in Health Science Education from McMaster University in 2015.
Dr. Hetaimish served in various leadership roles at Taibah university, in Madinah and at University of Jeddah since 2006. During his tenure, he acted as the Chairman of both the Orthopedic Surgery Department from 2015 to 2019 and the Medical Education Department from 2015 to 2017. During that period, Dr. Hetaimish joined numerous private medical centers in Jeddah as an external affiliate Orthopedic Surgery consultant. His clinical practice focuses on athletic and sports injuries of the knee and hip including Hip Preservation and Hip Arthroscopic Surgery in adolescents and adults. In addition, his practice involves Knee and Hip arthroplasty for degenerative conditions.
