Description
Performing electrical work throughout hospital and other facilities.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assigned for daily repair and test work.
- Aware of load demand with regard to new installation and circuit breaker ratings
- Diagnose the main causes of problems from the associated areas
- Responsible for many electrical concerned works such as - Checking the emergency generator.
- Checking the power distribution, and the general lighting, Emergency lightings, inspection of the Main distribution panel and the repeater panels.
- Monitoring the UPS system, and all other day to day routine works.
- Daily activity and major problems found to be reported to Electrical Systems Unit Manager and Senior Electrician.
- Any emergency and urgent matter must take immediate action.
- Must have focus monitoring and maintenance to all patient rooms to all buildings.
- Must have complete records of PPM procedures for all required machines and equipment.
- Must have monitoring for all high voltage electrical equipment all the time.
- Installation and repair for all cable wires, switches, power supply, electric outlets, machines, and equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to all required equipment and machines which is related to his job.
- Follow the instructions given by the Senior Electrician which is ordered by the Electrical Systems Unit Manager.
- Maintain his tools and test equipment levels.
- Maintain safe working practice codes.
- Demonstrates compassionate communication skills while providing support and care to the patients as "the patient is the center of our care".
Qualifications
- Must have Trade Certificate in Electricity
- Minimum 2 years as technician
- Fluency in written & spoken English & Arabic
- Electrician License or Trade Certificate as Electrician
