Dr. Abdulaziz is working as a consultant oncologist and laparoscopic surgeon at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, who has distinguished himself in performing advanced and supported ablation oncology operations using high-temperature chemotherapy during the surgical procedure (known as HIPC) as well as using radiation therapy ( IORT) to eliminate tumors in the metastatic stage. As well as surgery, liver and pancreas transplants, laparoscopic surgeries, and various robots.
He holds the Saudi, Arab and British Fellowship in general surgery.
He was awarded the Fellowship of liver and pancreas surgery and organ transplantation.
In 2010, he was awarded the HIPC and ablation Oncology Fellowship, which was the first clinical fellowship to be issued in this specialty in the world.
He contributed to the establishment of the Australian National Center for this type of surgery in St. George, Sydney, which is currently the best in the world.
Then he was the first to introduce this type of operation to the western region of the Kingdom at King Abdullah Medical City and then at Fakih hospital
It has more than 600 operations, some of which are unique and are presented at international conferences.
He has more than 16 research papers published in American and European journals in this field and is one of the pioneers of this specialty globally and contributed to the development of HIPC protocols with the International Group for this type of operations.
He also holds a fellowship in microsurgery, robotics, radiation therapy, microwave tumor destruction and nitrogen cooling and has performed a large number of these procedures.
He also holds a master's degree in management and institutional excellence in healthcare.
