  • Dr. Ahmed Akl started as a resident in the department of nephrology at urology & nephrology center, Mansoura, Egypt from 1994 to 2000.Then worked as a specialist in the department of nephrology at urology & nephrology center, Mansoura, Egypt from 2000 to 2007. After that he worked as a consultant in the department of nephrology at urology & nephrology center, Mansoura, Egypt from 2007 to 2018. Along with working as a fellow in the department of transplantation at Oxford university, Oxford, UK from 2002 to 2004. And as a fellow in the department of transplantation at Northwestern University, Chicago, USA from 2013 to 2014. And a fellow in the department of transplantation at Nantes University, Nantes, France from 2009 to 2010. In addition, Dr. Akl is a fellow of the American Society of nephrology and American Society of physicians.
