Studies

• After obtaining her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1999, Dr.Mahdi subsequently pursued a masters degree program in medicine at the same University, which she successfully completed in 2004. Before continuing her postgraduate studies to obtain the MD degree in internal medicine in 2008.

Work Experience

• Dr.Hanan is a veteran physician with 16 years of extensive experience and practice in internal medicine, where she oversees the management of internal medicine for inpatient & outpatient services. Previously, Dr.Hanan used to be a senior specialist at the Internal Medicine Department at DSFH from 2009 through 2011. Before being promoted to an internal medicine associate consultant in 2011. Prior to her role in Saudi Arabia, Dr.Hanan interned at Ain Shams University Hospital from the year 2000 to 2001. Then went on to serve as a resident at the internal medicine department at the same university hospital between 2001 to 2004. Before being energetically involved in mentoring and teaching medical students as an assistant lecturer in internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in 2004, where she still continues her role as an educator in internal medicine at the same university till this day, serving as a lecturer in internal medicine since she was appointed the position in the year 2008.
