Dr.Hosam Amoodi is a consultant, Otolaryngology and Head & Neck surgery at Dr.Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (DSFH). He is also the chairman of the otolaryngology (ENT) department at DSFH and a committed physician in the area of hearing and balance, with an extensive clinical knowledge to perform numerous surgical procedures for adults and pediatric populations and offer a wide spectrum of advanced care & conservative treatment to his patients.

  • Dr.Hosam obtained a medical degree in 2002, while attending the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, Dr.Hosam completed his ENT residency training in Dalhousie University in Canada in 2010. Subsequently, he did a fellowship “Otology & Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery” at University of Toronto, Canada in 2012, followed by another fellowship in hearing and balance disorder at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada in 2014.

Work Experience

  • After completing his fellowship in 2012, Dr.Hosam began his career as a E.N.T consultant at Dartmouth ENT Association, Canada for 2 years. In 2014 he worked as a full time ENT consultant at Sault Area Hospital in Sault Saint Marie, Canada for 3 years.
