Dr. Hussein Barayan has obtained his Generel secondary certificate from Althoger secondary school, Jeddah, KSA in 1992 followed by obtaining the MB, CHB from King Abdulaziz university, Jeddah, KSA in 1999. Dr. Hussein Barayan also completed his internship at King Abdulaziz university, Jeddah, KSA in 2000م .
Dr. Hussein Barayan began his career as a resident physician in the general surgery department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2001 to 2003, then he worked as a consultant in the vascular surgery department in King Abdullah Medical City, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2013 to 2014. Dr. Hussein Barayan also worked as a consultant in the department of vascular surgery at King Fahd General Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2014 to 2018, followed by working as a consultant in the vascular surgery department at Khalid Specialist Clinic, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia since 2018
