Dr. Muteb Alzaidi is a Thoracic and upper gastro-intestinal (esophagus and stomach) consultant surgeon.
He is specialized in managing the following conditions through robot or/and minimal invasive (keyhole) surgical intervention:
Lungs and airway, esophagus, stomach, diaphragm, thymus, excessive palms and axillary sweating, mediastinal tumors, diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy (EGD), chest wall tumors and fixation of ribs fractures.
Dr. Alzaidi has special interest in dealing and treating lungs and mediastinal tumors through single keyhole surgery.
Dr. Muteb Alzaidi has Started his general surgery board training in King Abdullaziz Medical City (National Guard Hospital). Then he continued his advanced training abroad when he joined Australian clinical fellowship program which is affiliated by university of Melbourne and he obtained clinical fellowship in thoracic surgical oncology. This program followed by another fellowship program in the same university where he obtained robotic and minimal Invasive thoracic surgery fellowship degree. Furthermore, he obtained Canadian clinical fellowship degree in esophago-gastric surgery from Toronto General Hospital which is affiliated by university of Toronto.
