Studies

Dr.Samir Hassan obtained his M.B B.ch. from Kasr Al-Aini faculty of medicine; Cairo university, Egypt in 2004. Followed by obtaining the master degree general surgery training course from vascular surgery department; El-Kasr Al Aini Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt in 2011.Then he continued to get the M.D (Doctorate) in vascular surgery & endovascular interventions from vascular surgery department; Kasr al Aini Faculty of Medicine; Cairo university, Egypt in 2014. And got the endovascular training course from Nancy center; school of surgery; universite de Lorraine; France in 2014. Followed by obtaining the fellowship of peripheral endovascular intervention(FEIN) from university hospital; Schleswig holsten; Kiel. christian-albrechts university; Kiel,Germany in 2015 along with getting the Brunkwall cologne aortic grafting follow ship (BCAGF) from cardio-vascular center-university hospital of cologne- Germany in 2016. In addition to obtaining the intervention Master Aortic Course from the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION of CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION, Cairo, Egypt in 2017. Dr.Samir Hassan also participated in the peripheral intervention advanced workshop in MEDICAL MASTERY SERIES GORE, Dubai, UAE, in 2017. Later, Dr.Samir Hassan obtained the 18 courses of administration leadership education from the Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC); Cairo University , Egypt in 2019.

Work Experience

Dr.Samir Hassan started his career as a resident of general and vascular surgery in the department of Vascular surgery at Kasr Al Aini Faculty of Medicine; Cairo University, Egypt from 2006 to 2009. Then worked as registrar of liver transplantation in the vascular surgery& liver transplantation unit at Dar Al Fouad Hospital - 6 of October, Cairo, Egypt from 2009 to 2010. Followed by working as an Assistant lecturer of vascular and endovascular surgery at Kasr Al Aini Faculty of Medicine; Cairo University, Egypt from 2010 to 2014. Along with working as a specialist in the department of vascular surgery at Al Shrouk Hospital , Cairo, Egypt from 2010 to 2014. Then worked as a consultant of vascular and endovascular surgery at New Kasr Al Aini Teaching Hospital (French Hospital), Cairo, Egypt from 2014 to 2016. And as a Lecturer and consultant of vascular and endovascular surgery at Faculty of medicine, Cairo university hospital from 2014 to present. Dr.Samir Hassan also worked as consultant vascular surgery and endovascular intervention, head of the department at Al Moosa specialized Hospital, Al Ahsaa, KSA from 20116 to 2019.
