Studies
- After gaining his bachelor degree in medicine and surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah in 1997, Dr.Yaser moved to attend the Faculty of Medicine at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Canada and simultaneously pursued an obstetrics & gynecology ultrasound program and a maternal fetal medicine (MFM) sub-specialty training, which he successfully completed in 2007. Additionally, Dr.Yaser is board certified by the Canadian Board of at the same University in 2005.
Work Experience
- Dr. Yaser currently holds the role of an assistant professor of obstetrics & gynecology on the teaching faculty at Umm Al Qura University in Makkah, energetically involved in schooling medical students since he was assigned the position in 2007. Also, during his tenure there he served as the head of the obstetrics & gynecology department for four years. Recently in 2015, Dr.Yaser served as a member of the exam committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
