At the Global Health Conference held in Riyadh under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Engineer Fahad Al-Jalajel, Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, Chairman of Fakeeh Care Group, announced ambitious expansion plans for the healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia.

The group revealed a substantial investment of five billion Saudi Riyals to execute its expansion projects, which include establishing specialized hospitals and world-class medical centers across various regions of the Kingdom. Key projects include:

• Madinah: A new hospital with 200 beds and 49 specialty clinics.
• Makkah: A hospital within the Masar Destination project, accommodating 200 beds and 80 clinics.
• Jeddah: A hospital in South Obhur with 300 beds and 100 specialty clinics, and a new surgical tower at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital with a capacity of 140 beds and 13 operating rooms.
• Specialized Medical Centers: Large medical centers in North Obhur, Al Zahra district in Jeddah, Al Uwaili district in Makkah, and Al Hamra district in Riyadh.
• Hill Hospital for Neurosciences: A comprehensive hospital dedicated to neurosciences, mental healthcare, and addiction treatment in Jeddah.
• Simulation Center: Development of the simulation center at Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences in Jeddah.

With this significant investment, Fakeeh Care Group aims to increase the number of its hospitals from four to seven, medical centers from five to nine, bed capacity from 835 to 1675, and clinics from 374 to 774. The group also targets increasing the capacity of Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences from 1800 to 5000 students.

On the sidelines of the conference, Fakeeh Care Group signed a number of agreements with leading healthcare providers and several non-profit organizations, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop its services and strengthen its leading position in the healthcare sector in the Kingdom
